GDPR requires that withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — visitors must be able to reopen the banner after their first choice. The widget listens for a click on the element with the id pieeye-DNSS-cookie-settings (“DNSS” = Do Not Sell or Share — this link doubles as the California opt-out reopener) and reopens the preference banner. The snippet below also tags the element with the plain pieeye-cookie-settings class/data-attribute as a forward-compatible alias — the id above is still what makes it work today, so don’t remove it.
